Since I was a child, I was a big dreamer with aspirations to be a footballer or an architect, influenced by a passion for building and playing. However, the economic crisis of 2008 and the negative messages from my environment about the difficulty of making a living from football or architecture made me give up on my dreams and choose to follow the traditional path: study and look for a ‘safe’ job.
Despite adapting, my competitive nature led me to stand out in football, and I was even scouted by Athletic Club de Bilbao. Later, at the age of 20, I decided to become an entrepreneur after finding a business opportunity that changed my life. Although the road to entrepreneurship was never easy and I lost the support of family and friends, I kept my determination, guided by the phrase: ‘Contribute or get out of the way’.
